I am Avy Leghziel.

My official title is Organizational Development Consultant.
I work with executives to solve chaotic problems, usually related to their management (dysfunctional teams, loss of control, lack of results) or to their strategy (development of new strategies, complex problem solving, crisis management).

If you are an executive and you see that something in your practice is not working, I am confident I can solve your problem. I've held senior management positions in global organizations, and since I've started my own consultancy I've served more than 120 executives and trained thousands.

I also do research. I am interested in what makes executives excel in chaotic environment. I share the interesting parts of what I learn in my newsletter, Masters of Babel. 5000+ subscribers so far.

Consulting.

I work closely with executives and companies to solve problems related to:

  • Strategy. You're disappointed with your current strategy (or you don't have one). You want to develop a strategy that is realistic to implement and delivers results.
  • Management. Your performance, or your team's performance, is poor or chaotic. You want a better method for managing the team and improve their performance.

I've already helped dozens of executives in your position.

Training.

I've trained thousands of professionals: executives, entrepreneurs, L&D professionals.

My workshops and training programs will help you improve strategic and managerial capacities; develop innovative thinking skills and solve complex problems; rethink and design how you train your team.

Personal background

  • Born and raised in Italy; I am based in Brazil; married + 2. I am fluent in English, Italian and Hebrew. 
  • My academic background is in Psychology, Business Management and Organizational Development. Currently pursuing my PhD.
  • For the past 19 years I have worked with an international audience. The way stories, ideas and people from different spaces merge into culture and behavior is the lens through which I understand the world.

My approach in a nutshell

  • My consulting and my training method are informed by organizational development models, evolutionary psychology, system thinking and adult learning methodologies. My own management and consulting experience are complementary.
  • Professional development is the key to problem solving . The alternative is stagnation. Our minds need fuel to solve complex problems, improve our performance, and have a meaningful professional experience.
  • My responsibility is to help professionals who need to evolve they way they work, think and manage. We live in times of endless content, but much of it is empty or redundant. My job is to find the powerful ideas that can become solutions to complex problems.
  • I learned that classic organizational routines are fine as an infrastructure, but real progress comes when we engage with unorthodox ideas: only chaotic, creative and challenging experiments are what makes professionals improve their performance.
