In a nutshell

After six intense years of consulting and training work with hundreds of professionals, I've developed my own consulting methodology.

It's designed to help executives solve management and strategy problems. If something isn't working in how you manage your team or your processes, but you can't figure out how to fix it, I can help.

It's an intense process focused on results and based on the use of critical questions, experiments in the day-to-day and AI (when it adds value).

To test the methodology, I'm looking for professionals with a management or strategy problem who want five free consulting sessions.

I'm accepting three people. First come, first served.

How can I help?

I'm Avy Leghziel, Organizational consultant and trainer. I've trained thousands of professionals and worked with over 120+ executives worldwide to solve their management and strategy problems.

My research focuses on how executives achieve exceptional performance in chaotic conditions.

What problems can we solve?

  • The team you manage isn't delivering and you don't know why
  • Your days feel like chaos, and you don’t see how you can get the results you need
  • You need to develop a new strategy and don’t know where to start
  • You're stuck firefighting instead of making concrete progress
  • You know the current strategy isn't working but can't see the alternative
  • Resource allocation feels wrong but you can't pinpoint how
  • You are stuck between conflicting priorities in a very political organization
  • You're dealing with a crisis and can't see a way out

The methodology follows three simple ideas.

  1. You have a specific problem to solve or outcome to achieve. That problem/outcome drives everything. It’s the beginning and the end of every consulting session.
  2. We work in chaos. "Making a plan" is not a sufficient solution, because something will happen and the plan becomes irrelevant. To make progress we focus on two essential components:
    • We work on the development/upgrade of the capabilities you need to be better suited to solve the problem.
    • We craft experiments you can run during the process to find what works, then repeat to solve future problems.
  1. Ignoring advanced technology is a waste of time, but becoming dependent on them will deteriorate our abilities. We use AI when it adds value: research, quantitative analysis, etc. Not for reasoning, articulation or tasks we can do ourselves, especially creative work.

I built this methodology from working with 120+ professionals across different fields, and from the core theories behind my research and practice: complex systems thinking, evolutionary psychology, adult learning.

Many consulting processes are detached from the everyday work and focus on articulating an abstract picture of what the solution should be. This process wants to learn from the everyday work, experiment with it, and provide you with a proven way to solve your problem.

Who it's for (and who it's not).

I learned that my approach works better with the following profile.

  • You're an executive managing a medium or small team. The overall size of the company where you work is not important.
  • You work in a business. (If you work in a non-profit, look here)
  • You have a concrete problem to solve. You're ready to invest five consulting sessions to solve it.
  • You want a deep solution, not a quick fix.
  • You know you need outside help and you're ready to question how you work. If you think you're doing everything right and problems are always someone else's fault, I can't help you.

  3. We'll run five sessions. The main value is in the sessions themselves, but at the end of the process you'll also get a deck with my recommendations on how to move forward.
